"Janet Evans" (1:10:59 PM): Great, a little tired, but good!
onehandtoucher (1:11:35 PM): so, Celebrity Circus, i gotta get right into it. What exactly is it?
"Janet Evans" (1:12:45 PM): It is a voting based reality show in which 7 celebrities compete for America's vote. We're doing mostly Cirque du Soleil acts, and it's all really cool. But very difficult as well!
onehandtoucher (1:13:28 PM): no kidding, so how does a celeb go about getting on one of these celebrity reality shows anyhow?
"Janet Evans" (1:14:52 PM): I was asked to do it, but at first I was a little hesitant. After all, I'm a swimmer, not a circus performer! But I'm really proud of myself and the entire cast. We started out not knowing how to do anything but I'm proud to say we all look pretty good out there!
onehandtoucher (1:15:39 PM): yeah seems like a fun group doing it
"Janet Evans" (1:16:21 PM): It is a great group....I've made some great friends...and it's fun to hang out with non-swimmers every once in a while!
onehandtoucher (1:16:48 PM): you gunna start kicking it with weeman and the rest of the jackass guys?
"Janet Evans" (1:18:10 PM): Ha! Jason (WeeMan) is an awesome guy. He cracks me up! And he works his tail off, so I have a ton of respect for him. And of course, he's not scared of anything.....
onehandtoucher (1:19:10 PM): so in pics ive seen from the show you look in INCREDIBLE shape... what have you been doing to stay in shape?
"Janet Evans" (1:20:17 PM): I have been training for the circus for 6 to 8 hours a day. It is tremendously hard work...a lot of core and climbing muscles and it gets you in great shape fast!!!
onehandtoucher (1:22:07 PM): Are we going to see you back racing in the pool anytime soon?
"Janet Evans" (1:23:12 PM): No, no competitive swimming for me! Once my gig at the circus is over, I'm heading to Beijing as a spectator, and then I'm going to come home and relax for a while. It's been a very busy summer!
onehandtoucher (1:23:39 PM): yeah so beijing... is your record gunna fall?
"Janet Evans" (1:25:00 PM): I actually believe that it might....with these new LZR racers, I think that every world record is at risk every time a swimmer jumps in the pool!
onehandtoucher (1:25:51 PM): yeah the suits are nuts. but let's get real you got your records in a regular ole one piece suit and no one was close to you.
"Janet Evans" (1:26:42 PM): Needless to say, I would have loved to have swum in one of those suits when I was in my prime!
"Janet Evans" (1:28:40 PM): By the way, I'm sitting by WeeMan....he says "WHAT UP TO ALL THE HOT SWIMMER GIRLS!" (that is his quote, not mine!)

onehandtoucher (1:35:26 PM): jeeze! you taken any spills practicing?
"Janet Evans" (1:36:38 PM): I fell from the trapeze bar last week...19 feet, no harness. I fell into a mat, but caught my right foot on the concrete. They thought I broke my foot, but it ended up being badly bruised. It was pretty scary.....
onehandtoucher (1:37:12 PM): thats nuts! do you realize you are pretty much the coolest person ever... 4 gold medals and now you master the trapeze!
onehandtoucher (1:37:24 PM): who is your biggest competition?
"Janet Evans" (1:38:06 PM): I think Antonio is great, as well as WeeMan and Stacey Dash.
onehandtoucher (1:38:40 PM): weeman is your smallest biggest competition
"Janet Evans" (1:38:57 PM): Ha Ha! He is pretty good....
